In the following section you may be asked to change some of you computer settings. You must write down your original settings before you change anything.
- For Windows Vista: press the <Windows> key and
'R' together.
For Windows XP/2000: click on Start and select Run
- In the Open: box, type 'cmd' then click on OK
- At the command prompt, type 'ipconfig/all' and then press
<Enter>
You should now see a screen that is similar to the one below.
- The IP address, Default gateway, DHCP Servers and DNS
Servers shown on this command prompt should all begin with
134.225: if this is not the case then you should refer to
Configuring your
machine.
if you do not see a similar screen then you may not have a network card installed, or it is not configured correctly. Please refer to your computer documentation to confirm that you have a network card installed.
